The preferred methods for citing the data sources in ADEPT are:

1) In the acknowledgements section, acknowledge each of the 24 data centers from which we retrieve data. Information about each data center can be found under the Data Sources menu item.

2) In the references section or as an appendix, reference each of the seismic networks, including the DOI assigned to that reference. Since ADEPT is currently retrieving data from 495 networks, the set of references will be long.

We currently have two text files; one is a list of all networks in the ADEPT database and the other is a listing of all references and DOI's for those network codes. Since network codes may be reused and networks sometimes have multiple references, the list of references is much longer than the list of network codes. It is left as an exercise for the user to extract and format the appropriate references. Once that is done, we will be happy to host that list on this web site.
