FDSN compliant?  No. Download is via a proprietary web interface. ADEPT uses a special module (GDMSdata.py) to request and download data from GDMS. Since this module is written to scrape the GDMS web site, it may break down when the web site is revised. GDMS requires a login and password which much be renewed annually. GDMS states that they are working on a fdsn compliant interface, but it is not yet available.

Notes: Unlike the fdsn compliant data centers, the GDMS module requests all available broadband data for an event, and creates channel entries in the database after the data download. This is dependent on the StationXML representation of the GDMS network, which was manually downloaded separately. Still to do is to create a module which periodically downloads and updated StationXML file in order to handle any new or modified stations. Broadband data is only available from January 1, 2012 and later.
